Sisuphos was the middle of the three planets of the Procyon System. It had a gravity 1.5 times that of Earth, temperature just low enough to support Human life, was covered in sand and devoid of water, with its atmosphere very windy and its only native life various types of lichen and scrub grass.
It was one of the richest mining centers in the Terran Federation, which it officially was a member of; but due to the harsh locale and the types of miners attracted, it was efefctively outside of Federal law.
There were at least four main mining centers on Sisuphos: Camp 1, Camp 2, Camp 3, and Camp 4.
